Shipping and Delivery Policy – Caldor

1. Introduction
This policy governs the shipping and delivery processes for our products, aiming to protect customer rights and ensure compliance with applicable laws. Starting from 01.01.2025, new rules regarding shipping organization and responsibilities will come into effect.

 

2. Insured Shipping Organized by Caldor
All shipments organized by Caldor will be conducted with insured shipping. This measure is mandatory to protect products against loss or damage.

  • If the shipping cost is covered by Caldor, or if no specific agreement exists, this cost will be passed on to the customer.

  • If the shipping cost is paid by the recipient, the insurance fee will automatically be included in the shipping cost and paid directly to the shipping company by the recipient.

 

3. Customer-Organized Shipping
Customers have the option to organize shipping through a company of their choice. In this case:

  • Responsibility for any loss or damage during transit lies solely with the customer.

  • Caldor will not be liable for damages occurring after the products have been handed over to the shipping company.

 

4. Declaration on Costs and Liability

  • Caldor assumes no responsibility for declarations or guarantees regarding shipping and insurance processes. Customers are responsible for reading and understanding Caldor’s rules and policies.

  • All costs and risks associated with shipping must be assessed and accepted by the customer.

  • Caldor assumes responsibility for products only until they are handed over to the shipping company. After handover, any loss or damage will not be the responsibility of the company.

  • However, Caldor ensures that products are properly packaged to provide maximum protection during transit.
